Celebrate your freedom to read and kick-off Banned Books Week! Banned Books Week is a national celebration of the freedom to read and hopes to raise awareness of the problem of book censorship. To kick-off the week's festivities, Hui Dui is hosting a LIS social.

Let's celebrate the first weeks of class being done and get together for a pau hana! This is a great chance to socialize with classmates and take a break from schoolwork.
Hui Dui will be hosting their first pau hana of the fall 2016 semester on: Date: Friday, September 23, 2016 Time: 7:00 PM Place: Beer Lab HI Food will be provided by Hui Dui but all beverages will be at your expense. Food will be ordered around 7:30 PM. Even if you have plans and cannot make it at 7:00 sharp, please stop by when you can -- we'll be there for a while! We know there are LIS classes that meet that night so please stop by once your class is done! |
